The solution
You probably already have the solution at home: vinegar. Vinegar is known for its acidic ingredients and is therefore a perfect solution against fungal nails. The fungal that causes fungal nails can’t stand the acid of vinegar. A simple foot bath with vinegar is the perfect remedy for fungal nails!
How it works
It’s very simple: all you have to do is soak your foot in a bath of vinegar for about fifteen minutes every day. Make sure to rinse your feet with warm water afterwards. It doesn’t have to be special vinegar. You can simply use the variant from the supermarket. Don’t have time to soak your feet? It also helps to dab the contaminated nail in the morning and evening with a cotton ball soaked in vinegar. You will notice that your fungal nails will be gone in no time!
How to prevent fungal nails
Of course, prevention is better than curing. It is important that you make it difficult for the fungal to grow. Therefore, dry your feet and toes carefully after showering or swimming. Also wear dry, wool or cotton socks and change them every day. Wear slippers in public locker rooms, showers and swimming pools to protect your nails from contamination. Extra tip: do not share nail scissors with others and always wash your feet with an antibacterial soap.
