Over a 14-day period, she replaces one meal a day with a dish featuring raw mushrooms. Mushrooms are low in calories but high in protein and fiber, which may keep you feeling fuller longer and less apt to snack on high-calorie foods throughout the rest of the day. Should you try it? No. There is no evidence that mushrooms will help you lose fat in one particular spot.
